Our Mission Statement

Family Outreach Corpus Christi, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization that has served South Texas since 1977. Our services are designed to provide support and education for families, prevent abuse and neglect as well as empower parents. We are unique in offering our services free to parent in Nueces County in an effort to promote self-sufficiency by strengthening the family unit.

What We Offer

Family Outreach provides, free of charge, a variety of support services to strengthen families. Services include one-on-one mentoring, counseling, parenting education classes and support groups. Family Outreach also assists families in evaluating and finding other community resources needed to provide for the physical and emotional needs of themselves and their families. Our ultimate goal is to prevent child abuse and neglect by strengthening the family unit and bettering the lives of children one family at a time!

Our Ultimate Goal: Child Abuse Prevention

Child abuse is a community problem, costing Americans in excess of $95,000,000,000 each year. Prevention services can help parents stay out of an already overburdened system, keep children from growing up to be violent offenders themselves, and improve the quality of life for future families.
