R.O.A.R.
Recognizing Obstacles to Anger Resolution
A new way of looking at anger and healthy solutions to anger management.
R.O.A.R. is an anger support group for men and women that provides a unique perspective into anger based on group interaction and insight. R.O.A.R. unlike other anger management programs is not a class, it is a support group focusing on managing anger through insight oriented tasks and activities. The group will learn to recognize anger, identify triggers to anger, develop strategies to managing anger, and ultimately identify the key roots of their anger.
This support group is about getting to the “root” and understanding the who, what, where, and when of each individual’s anger, then helping to support each other through the process of managing anger. R.O.A.R. uses a special technique called Anger Threading to get to the bottom of where deep rooted anger is coming from in order to provide insight and understanding.
